​Why Nepal?​​
​Nepal offers the best mountaineering and trekking sites in the highest mountains in the world, the Himalayas. Nestled between India to the south and Tibet (China) to the North, Nepal lies on the southern slopes of the Himalayas, and is without exception, the most spectacular country conceivable. With an astonishing diversity of ethnic groups and cultures, landscapes that vary from tropical climate to the highest glacial peaks within just 150 km, it is easy to see why travelers and trailblazers have always been attracted to this Himalayan country. ​Description of your trek in Nepal in the Annapurna region​​
This is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. You will be walking through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Treks to the Annapurna region start from the Lakeside resort town of Pokhara.
Preparations
You do not need to be a mountaineer with rippling muscles to enjoy trekking. If you are reasonably fit, have an adventurous spirit and are not afraid of walking, you qualify!
We will take care of all the details. All you have to do on the trails is concentrate on putting one foot before the other and enjoying yourself. On these popular trekking trails, you will experience ‘teahouse style’ trekking. Teahouse Style eating & lodging is one of the best ways to experience, firsthand, the various cultures of Nepal.
We do have an excellent, carefully chosen, local guide who will help us with all of the practical details of our day's walks.

Regulations
Your passport must contain at least 1 clear and completely unstamped page for Nepali visa and should be valid at least for 6 months.
Visa on arrival: Nepal Visa fees - at present 30 Euros for 30 day, and 76 Euros for a three-month visa. 2 ID pictures required.
Trekking permits: we will take care of that formality in Pokhara. 4 ID pictures required.
Photo-trek package – 16 days in Nepal
including 9 days trekking
​Day 1 - October 10 – Arrival in Kathmandu (1345 m - We’ll pick you up at the airport and go to your guest-house downtown – 40 mn drive), walk around the old city (timing depending on arrival time)
Day 2– Walk around the old Kathmandu city in the morning – Flight to Pokhara in the afternoon (30 mn) – Dinner together and night in your guest-house
Day 3 - Free day in Pokhara (820 m) for last minute shopping (all trekking equipment can be found there at excellent price), boating and swimming in the lake or just discovery of the environment. Dinner together.
From Day 4 to Day 13 we will be trekking up and down the mountains to Annapurna base camp at 4130 meters high all the way back to the Kali Gandaki valley and your Pockara base.

​Day 14 – Full day in Pokhara lakeside, shopping, boating, downloading your precious
photographs and relax!
* Tip: Consider being minimalist when you fill your backpack, remember that you have to carry it up and down the trails. Up to 4 - 5 kg is fine… Check the options in the tariff page if you want to hire a porter for yourself.* Option Paragliding from Serangkot, fly down to lake side (a 800 m drop!)
* 75 Euros Discount if you want to extend your trip from Pokhara (no flight back to Kathmandu)
Day 15 – Early flight to Kathmandu. Afternoon walk around the old city
Day 16 – October 25 - Departure to your home cities or extend your trip​
